This Privacy Policy explains how Meritronics Vietnam Joint Stock Company (“Meritronics”, “we”) processes personal data when you use meritronics.vn, our quotation tool and customer account. We process personal data in accordance with Vietnamese law, including Decree No. 13/2023/ND-CP on personal data protection. Meritronics is the controller of the data described here.

We do not collect payment card data, and we do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data. Please do not include sensitive data in uploaded files.
2. Why we use it
- To provide the Services — sign you in, keep your drafts and files private to you, calculate estimates, prepare and confirm quotations (performance of a contract or steps taken at your request).
- To communicate with you — confirmation emails, replies to your messages, questions from our engineers about your request.
- To keep the Services secure — prevent spam and abuse, rate-limit uploads, investigate misuse (our legitimate interest and legal obligations).
- To meet legal obligations — accounting, tax and requests from competent authorities.
We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for third-party advertising. We will only send you marketing messages with your consent, and you can withdraw that consent at any time.
3. Who we share it with
- Google — to authenticate your sign-in.
- Service providers — hosting, content delivery and email delivery providers that process data on our behalf under contract.
- Manufacturing partners — PCB fabricators, component distributors and logistics providers, only the data needed to fulfil your request, under confidentiality.
- Authorities — where required by law.
Component price lookups send part numbers only, never your personal data. Some providers may process data outside Vietnam; where that happens we take the steps required by law to protect it.
4. How long we keep it
- Files of draft quotes are deleted automatically after a period of inactivity; files of submitted quotes are kept for a longer period to support your order. The current periods are shown in your account.
- Account and quote records are kept while your account is active and afterwards for as long as needed for legal, accounting and dispute purposes.
- Security logs are kept for a limited period and then deleted.
5. Security
Uploaded files are stored outside the public website under random names and can be opened only by you and authorised staff. Access is protected by sign-in, permission checks and rate limits, and connections are encrypted with HTTPS. No system is perfectly secure; please tell us immediately if you suspect a problem.
6. Cookies and local storage
We use only what the website needs to work: a sign-in cookie, a security token, a cookie remembering your language, and browser storage remembering your light/dark preference. We do not use advertising cookies. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when your browser requests them. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this policy and ask for consent where required.
7. Your rights
Under Vietnamese law you may: be informed about the processing of your data; access and obtain a copy of it; correct it; ask us to delete it or restrict its processing; object to processing; withdraw consent; and complain to the competent authority. You can view and edit your profile and delete draft quotes in My account. For other requests, email contact@meritronics.vn; we will reply within the time required by law. We may need to verify your identity, and we may keep data we are legally required to retain.
8. Children
The Services are intended for businesses and are not directed to anyone under 18.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. The effective date above shows the latest version; material changes will be announced on the website.
